The color of this hat is absolutely gorgeous and the knitting is beautiful! The hat is also not small, so it can accommodate those of us with larger sized-heads - I hate it when a hat is too snug. Importantly, the bag in which to store it over the warm months is not polyester, but 100% cotton. Emily also includes a sample of an environmentally-friendly detergent for handwashing it. I'd be remiss not to mention the price! There are companies out there online (will not name names) charging almost twice for a merino wool hand-knitted hat. Emily is honest and reasonable. Last but not least, I got a personal reply from Emily when I had a question, which I very much appreciated - she owns this business and she's the one knitting everything, and now I know she's also the one in charge of customer service. I've also not gotten bombarded by automatic texts when I was looking again at the site, which is a nice thing. I love everything about Emily's work and the way she does business, and I intend to support her in the future - her hats make the nicest gifts! As for my wish-list, I hope she'll be getting into some reds soon :)
